On July 9, 2015, The Living Water Project launched a campaign to raise $18,000 for wells in Zambia. We are humbled and excited to announce that $19,927.27 was raised! Thank you so much to all who donated and participated in this challenge! Drilling should start in the next few weeks. We will post pictures of the wells when they are completed!
Update: TLWP Zambia Summer Well Challenge!
On July 9, 2015, The Living Water Project launched a campaign to raise $18,000 for wells in Zambia. We have received $9070 towards this goal! $8930 is still needed to meet our goal by August 1. Will you please join us?
The Living Water Zambia Summer Well Challenge!
Over the past four years, The Living Water Project has funded 7 wells per drilling season in Zambia. We have partnered with the Namwianga Mission in Zambia. Our well coordinator in Zambia is Shadreck Sibwaalu. Shadreck works with Namwianga Missions in Zambia and has become a most outstanding water project coordinator and partner with The Living Water Project. Every year, he surveys villages to find those areas in the most need for clean water wells. This year, Shadreck has identified 8 villages that do not have a clean water source. They currently gather water from holes collecting rain water (see pictures below). Thanks to our generous donors, we have enough funds for 5 wells ($30,000). We are still needing funds for 3 more wells. We need $18,000 by the end of July to be able to fund these wells. Will you join us?

Did you know March 22 is World Water Day. The UN deemed this year's theme to be water and sustainable development. The Living Water Project seeks to be part of that each and every time we fund a well by providing maintenance training and forming a water committee to ensure it has local, unbiased ownership.

Living Water Bracket Challenge!
Welcome to the Living Water Project Bracket Challenge! Your entry to this unique bracket pool will help us provide life-giving clean water in deserving communities around the world where it is currently inaccessible. Please feel free to forward this to family and friends.
The winning entry will have the privilege of:
- Honoring a loved one or friend with one of Living Water's 2015 wells.
- Naming the Otter Creek Church basketball gym as they choose for the next year, until our 2015 bracket contest. Scott Schwieger, the 2014 winner, named the gym “The Hymnasium”. Please see the photo below. Well done, Scott!
